Planning is now underway to celebrate the landmark of the 50th
anniversary of the band's formation in early 1965.
Preliminary organisation at this stage includes: the celebration will be
in the form of a dinner in June 2015 - a venue and firm date are
currently being explored; Past and present members of the band and other
members of the South Australian Pipe Band fraternity will be invited to
the event; the band history on the website will be updated, paying
particular attention to the past 15 years; and significant service to
the band over the past 50 years will be recognised.
Updates on the celebration will be added to this blog from time to time.

New Members
Jenni Goodwin (Piper) and Katelyn Timmings (Tenor) were made members of
the band at the October committee meeting. Both are a very welcome
addition to the band. Jenni played out with the band for the first time
at the Norwood Pageant and Katelyn at the Salisbury Pageant.
