First Band Practice for 2011

A reminder to all members that band practices will commence on Tuesday 11 January.

The emphasis for the first 2 weeks will be competition work.

For Competition players band practices will commence at the Harry Bowie Reserve at 7PM sharp.

For non competition players the hall will be open for practice from 7PM. For those taking lessons with Jim I anticipate that these will continue as normal at the hall.

Record Attendance at Band Practice

Well done everybody! Last night we had 26 people at band practice which is a record attendance. This is an important achievement because regular attendance is the key to building and maintaining a successful band. It was great to see so many smiling faces!

Also ... Welcome to Chris Boland who played with us for the first time last night. Chris is a learner piper who has just moved from the Gold Coast to Clare.
